Mad Dog Café... on the Blackstone
Delta Lady

Owned and managed by the Garnett family, Mad Dog Artist Studios, Gallery & Café is an eight thousand square foot art complex set up to meet the studio needs of artists who want to work in most media, including, but not limited to: Jewelry, Sculpture, Ceramics, Textiles, Design, Editing, Writing, Photography, Mixed Media and Painting. We are a "Membership-Based" art studio, our members have use of our large open art studio at times and days that work with their schedules. We welcome artists of all levels of experience.  Membership is month-to-month with no minimum number of months to commit to. In addition to the use of our open art studio many of our members have also taken one of our twenty-two private studios.   There is a three month minimum commitment for a private studio but after that membership is month-to-month.  There are no leases and all utility expenses are included.  Our art complex has about forty artists working and playing here in our "lively experiment".

In addition to providing working space for artists we have expanded our programing to provide regular "Life Drawing" sessions on Wednesday evenings.  The sessions are moderated by a studio member and provide an excellent opportunity for studio members and artists in our community to hone their skills while enjoying a relaxing evening with kindred spirits.

Opened in December of 2016, Mad Dog Café is providing our greater art community, as well as our studio members, excellent coffee,  espresso, light breakfasts, lunches as well as a comfortable and fun place to meet.  Christina's café has become the heart of our art center and the "kitchen table" of our art district.  Please come and visit with her.

In addition to her work here at the studios,  Mad Dog Artist Studios co-founder Amanda May Amoroso has her own ceramics studio in R
ockport,  Maine.  Expanding on the work that she began here at Mad Dog,  Amanda is adding to her portfolio of thoughtfully designed, functional tableware.  Her work is available at Mad Dog Café,  at our annual Holiday Sale and on-line at honeybeehillart.com.
